The weather was PERFECT ..... 80º and sunny with cooler nights!
My two love the sand and water, but this pesky creature kept us out of it, but not completely.
No crazy Portugese Man Of War (many of them actually) will keep my kids from some salt water fun!
We took an airboat ride into the Everglades. Boo, La and Daddy stepped out into the Everglades.
Only to see this 100 feet later...EEEKKKKSSSSSS
The boat ride was so fun. Here are a few more pictures....
After the boat ride, everyone had the opportunity to hold a 3 year old alligator. Note this one did not have its mouth taped down. La was the first in line and actually held it twice. She would have stayed all day had they let her. She is absolutely and undeniably an animal lover.
The second day we decided to go to Seaquarium. We had a blast! 7 hours later we still were not ready to leave! It's like a smaller version of Sea World, but significantly less crowded. We were splashed by dolphins, watch sea lions give cpr (not really but in a show), watch an Orca keep sticking his tongue out to kiss his training after every dip in the water she took with him, saw several iguanas roaming around freely, petted a dolphin and took pictures with flipper, fed the manta rays (not Boo because they suck your whole hand in their mouth), let the kiddos play on watered playground, learned about manatees, and a few other things. Here are some pictures from the day...

Just Splashed!!
The above picture is of a pesky pelican that would not get out of the dolphin tank. The dolphins would nip it from underneath, but did not deter it from trying to get a free fish!
Just Splashed!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!
We headed to the Keys and this is the only picture we took. Boo and La jump into a kayak with some old friends. They kayaked down the canal and caught some upside down jelly fish! This was their first time in a kayak and they loved it!
Below are a few pictures from Jungle Island. They all braved feeding the biting birds, except me!
Only trained cassowary in the world. Very cool creature.
The LIGER!
Just a few other pictures from our Miami adventure!
